Margaret Neff

Margaret Neff began her career with One Mission Society in 1983. It was during a short-term experience in Taiwan two years earlier that God gave her a burden for missionary kids (MKs) and the peculiar and deep challenges to spiritual maturity and personal development they face.

After working at headquarters, she spent four years teaching MKs in Colombia, South America. She taught kindergarten, second grade and music at El Camino Academy. Margaret also had a ministry with the music program, worked with Colombian youth and taught Sunday school at the Christian Fellowship in Bogota.

Following her four years in Colombia, Margaret finished her master’s degree in language education and spent 10 years teaching MKs in Mexico City, Mexico, where she taught everything from kindergarten to eighth grade, music, history and Bible at Mexico City Christian Academy. She was also involved in the administrative aspects of the school.

Currently, Margaret teaches English as means to lead people to the Lord. As she is fluent in Spanish, she also teaches in the Biblical Seminary of Mexico, helping prepare the next generation of Mexican church leadership.

Margaret is also involved in the music ministry with the OMS-related UNIFAM (Families United in Christ) churches. Her goal is to teach Mexicans in the church the biblical basis for music in the church and how to direct worship. She is also field hostess, helping coordinate the visitors who come to the field.
