Kacie Loucks is in her second year of serving with One Mission Society at Cowman International School in Haiti. She is excited to serve as a first grade teacher of 27 students while team teaching with and supporting a Haitian teacher as he grows in his teaching abilities. Kacie is also happy to use her special education training to help support those with learning challenges at Cowman in other grades as well.
After being called to missions at the age of 13, Kacie traveled on short-term to Mexico, Guatemala, and Ecuador before finding where God has chosen for her to be long term. Haiti is the place where he “makes her heart the most happy.” Her goal is to live out the plan God has written on her heart—to fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples (Matthew 28:19), to look after orphans and widows in their distress (James 1:27), and to always seek justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with him (Micah 6:8).
Kacie was born and raised in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. She attended Cairn University to get her bachelor of science in biblical studies and a bachelor of science in elementary education with a special education certification.
