Josh serves with Men for Missions, a ministry of One Mission Society. MFM exists to challenge men (and their families) to do, go, and give in total obedience to Jesus Christ at home and around the world.
At MFM, Josh serves as the U.S. ministry team specialist. He works with churches, individuals, and organizations to give men and their families opportunities to serve the Lord within the United States and worldwide. These opportunities include: work projects, evangelism, prayer, disaster relief, and more. He prepares teams, both spiritually and physically, as he helps coordinate, equip, and send short-term mission teams on their life-changing-journey.
Josh graduated from Crossroads Bible College in 2013 with a bachelor’s degree in biblical counseling. He worked at ICAADA (Indiana Counselors Association for Alcohol and Drug Abuse) for one year then at Wheeler Mission Ministries for six years. His passion for biblical counseling and seeing men grow in their walk with the Lord continues to develop as he serves at MFM. He maintains numerous certifications for secular counseling and continues to utilize his biblical counseling degree and certification through ACBC (Association of Certified Biblical Counselors) to serve in his local church, LifePoint.
Josh and his wife, Michelle, have been members at LifePoint Church in Indianapolis since they were married on May 12, 2012. They have three boys: Josiah, Samuel, and Neil. Since marrying, Josh and Michelle have traveled for missions work to Africa twice, once with Josiah, and Josh traveled to Colombia with MFM in 2017 and Cuba in 2019.
Josh and Michelle met serving dinner to the homeless at Wheeler Mission Ministries and their desire to serve the Lord in missions continues to grow together. They enjoy encouraging others to serve God in whatever mission field God has for that individual and their family, locally and internationally.
“And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.” Colossians 3:15-17 ESV
