Andrea McFall serves as a secondary math teacher at Nicaragua Christian Academy (NCA), teaching Math 7, Algebra 2 (regular and honors), AP Statistics, and math applications.
Andrea visited Nicaragua for the first time in 2008, and she fell in love with the people and the culture. It was on this trip that she first felt God calling her to the mission field. On a trip in March 2013, she visited Nicaragua Christian Academy for the first time, and she felt God’s calling to be a part of this community. Building up experience for five years at Ben Davis High School in Indianapolis, Andrea was thrilled to receive an offer to join the NCA family in March 2017, four years after her first visit to the school, and nearly nine years after she first felt God’s calling to live in Nicaragua.
The path to get to this point may have seemed long and arduous, but Andrea cannot deny the presence of God along every step of the way. He has made himself known and has clearly been at work preparing the way. Andrea is thrilled to be a member of the staff of NCA, and she is even more excited to see how God uses her to move in the hearts and lives of the people she interacts with in Nicaragua.
