Alecia serves in South Korea at the Korea Evangelical Holiness Church (KEHC)'s missionary training center, where her role is to provide English-language training to Korean missionary families before they are sent out from South Korea to their respective mission fields.
The majority of her time while serving in South Korea is spent with the missionary children through building platforms from which the students can become confident communicators while in international schools.
She also supports the adult missionaries during their training by participating in the Adventures in English (AIE) camps, teaching during the two-month intensive English portion of the missionaries' training, organizing English practice during the week, and allowing for spontaneous English exposure throughout regular, casual fellowship.
Alecia was born and raised in Indiana and graduated from Taylor University in 2016 with a B.S. in professional writing, as well as a teaching English to speakers of other languages (TESOL) certificate.
