Freedom to Run

June 15 2018

A new summer tradition from One Mission Society will begin on June 30 at 8 a.m. in Freedom Park in Greenwood, Indiana. The Freedom Park 5K Run is for anyone from an experienced runner and wants to set their PR, to someone who wants the challenge of finishing their first 5K run, to those who prefer walking for exercise or to support a good cause.

This timed event features a smooth, flat course that creates an amazing opportunity for a new family tradition in Greenwood that highlights the growth of this vibrant community. Benefiting One Mission Society’s The Word Brings Life ministry project (www.onemissionsociety.org/give/word-brings-life), the OMS Freedom Park Run will raise funds for OMS’ Bridge to Reading literacy ministry, OMS English camps, and other projects that reach diaspora populations learning English as a second language.

Whether you want to add to your medal or t-shirt collection, or just want to have a fun time, this new event is designed for you. To learn more information or to register for this inaugural event, go to oms.run. Then, share this opportunity with your friends and family!
