One Mission Stories "After the Show" -- Lisa Ausley

January 24 2014

We hope you enjoyed Sunday night's (Nov. 16) One Mission Stories, OMS' radio program, featuring OMS Board of Trustee member, Lisa Ausley. Lisa shared many stories of God leading her on her Christian journey.

Here are our "After the Show" resources to better connect you with things you heard about on last night's program.

Lisa shared about the influence of Billy Graham and missionary biographies on her Christianity. She also shared about her long-term desire to be a full-time missionary, yet how God had other plans. He has used Lisa and her husband, a church pastor, to influence and send approximately 35 missionaries to date. She has a goal of 50 in her lifetime.

Lisa attended Asbury University and got involved in the OMS Student Center there, run by OMS missionary Margaret Brabon (at the time), a huge mentor in Lisa's life.

Lisa also mentioned the impact of OMS' cofounder Lettie Cowman's devotional book, Streams in the Desert.
