International Literacy Project (Bridge to Reading)
Bridge to Reading ministry teaches adults to read the language they speak, in areas where OMS-related partners are planting churches. The volunteer tutors in the Central African Republic, Burundi, Democratic Republic of the Congo (Africa), and in Colombia (South America) are trained to teach reading, writing, and basic math in their local churches. This ministry is a powerful evangelism tool that is helping believers learn to read the Bible. Partner churches need help getting chalkboards and simple school supplies.
A gift of $50 will provide a chalkboard and school supplies for a group of literacy learners.
