Transportation for VCP Workers
Give Hope This Christmas
Your gift this Christmas will accelerate church planting in Africa!
Travel in rural areas of Africa is difficult, particularly when VCP trainers and church planters must walk from their home to the church they pastor or the training center they lead.
Donations to this project will make our VCP trainers and church planters much more efficient and will help conserve their physical health and energy. Most VCP trainers are bivocational, with an average daily wage in rural sub-Saharan Africa ranging from $5–$7 per day. That doesn’t leave much discretionary income for a bicycle, so help is needed.
Further, many VCP coordinators (who typically oversee and visit as many as 10 training centers monthly) would greatly benefit from a motorcycle (at a cost of about $1,500). Your help will enable our church planters, trainers, and coordinators to be much more effective in ministry.
